INAT ECHOLINK
INAT echolink is a smart Ethernet interface, which allows you to connect Siemens PLC's with serial communications ports to your Ethernet network.
A number of protocols are provided including RS 232, AS 511, 3964R, RK 512, Telnet and more recently MPI and PPI. A major advantage of the echolink is the ease with which a PLC can be connected to an Ethernet network.
No software modifications are required in the PLC CPU, therefore various generations of Siemens PLC's may be connected onto the same network. The echolink can be configured with up to five serial ports, which would allow 5 x PLC's to be connected to the device. The latter results in a very cost effective solution to networking numerous PLC's in a single location.
INAT OPC SERVER
The INAT OPC server allows communications to Siemens TCP and H1 cards (S5 and S7), INAT TCP cards and the INAT echolink. It is possible to communicate to S7 and S5 PLC's simultaneously (i.e. using the same OPC server and passing information to the same SCADA system) using this OPC server. Recently a Modbus TCP OPC server has been added to the product range. The INAT OPC server has been proven to communicate with a large number of SCADA software packages.

- Time-consuming and cost-intensive converting of programs is not applicable.

PROFICHIP®
Profichip produce a range of Profibus ASIC's (VPC3+C, MPI12x, VPCLS2 used for PROFIBUS-DP communication) and components. SAM distributes PROFIBUS connectors EasyConn. The connector has been designed especially for use in PROFIBUS systems.
It allows the convenient connection of incoming and out going bus lines. The male can be mounted easily in the field, because it is equipped with insulation displacement technology.
Moreover, all parts are secured against loss due to the single-screw installation. The terminating resistances are already integrated and can be activated via a slide switch; at the same time the outgoing bus line is disabled.
In addition , the EasyConn-connector has integrated test functions, which indicate bus and plug status via 4 LED's.
